Simplifying Feedback Management

Our feedback system pulls all issues, todos, updates and content into one place.  This makes it easy for all of us to manage and track issues, questions,  and content changes that are required.

The feedback toolbar sits at the top left of your website. (Note: this is only available before you go live).

 

Adding Feedback

To add feedback, using the feedback toolbar.

  • Click on the 'Add Feedback' button
  • A login panel will appear, enter your login details (these are the same as your umbraco login details) and click Log On button.
  • Enter a title for the problem in the name field.
  • Give a short description of the error in the description text box. (See tips below)
  • In the Type, select the error type
  • If this problem is stopping you from completing your testing, click the checkbox.
  • Click Save.

Example of adding an issue:

  • Starting at the page "default.aspx"
  • When I click on the Category "Shoes"
  • It should direct me the page shoes.aspx.
  • But it directs me to the page hats.aspx.
